Molly Sheridan rejoined the American Music Center staff in September 2003 as managing editor of NewMusicBox , having held the position of associate editor at the webzine from July 2001 to December 2002. She is also a contributing writer to the New York Press, Time Out New York, SYMPHONY magazine, and the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette.

Prior to joining the AMC staff, Sheridan worked for the American Symphony Orchestra League, where she was associate editor of SYMPHONY magazine and the League's webmaster. She attended the Honors Tutorial College at Ohio University, earning a B.S. in journalism with a specialization in violin performance and French in 1999. During her college years, she managed marketing and development for the university's performing arts series and edited Southeast Ohio magazine. She also played professionally with a number of orchestras in the region. Since then she has shifted gears musically and now works principally with smaller ensembles and on various improv and recording projects. Between tenures at the AMC, Sheridan studied the esraj and Tibetan rug weaving in Nepal.
