Jennifer Johnson

Jennifer Johnson joined the Minnesota Orchestra as Assistant Principal Librarian in September 2004. Prior to her arrival in Minneapolis, she worked as Assistant Librarian at the Houston Symphony and as Staff Librarian with The Philadelphia Orchestra. In Philadelphia, her mentor was Clinton F. Nieweg, Principal Librarian, whom she assisted with the proofing and editing of the Nieweg Performing Editions (formerly The Philadelphia Orchestra Corrected Editions), published by Edwin F. Kalmus & Co., Inc.

Jennifer has also worked with the Baltimore Symphony, Spoleto Festival USA, Music Academy of the West, American Russian Young Artists Orchestra, Youth Orchestra of the Americas, and many other ensembles in the US and abroad. Jennifer was trained as a trombonist at the Peabody Conservatory and also earned a Bachelor's degree with honors in Political Science and Philosophy from Bryn Mawr College.
