Melissa Rogers

Melissa Rogers, the Head Librarian of the Aspen Music Festival and School, began her music career as an oboe/English horn player but quickly ventured into the world of an orchestra librarian. Melissa started at the Aspen Music Festival in 2008 and became the Head Librarian in 2009. She began working for the Dallas Symphony orchestra part-time in 2004 and was named the Assistant Librarian in 2008, a position that she still holds. Prior to her positions at the Dallas Symphony and Aspen Music Festival, she completed her bachelor's degree in music and English at Texas Christian University. While at TCU, Melissa was the band librarian, webmaster and drum major for the Horned Frog Marching Band. She is an unashamed bookworm, loves to eat Mexican food and spends time with her adorable Yorkshire Terrier, Teddy.
